Nelly’s is a privately run day nursery situated in a fully refurbished Victorian house in West Dulwich. We offer full day care for children aged from 3 months to 5 years and are open all year except for Bank holidays and a 2 week break at Christmas. Our opening hours are 7.30am to 6.30pm each weekday.

Nelly’s aim is to provide a happy and secure environment in which each child can develop at his or her own pace. We help guide children towards the early learning goals as defined in the National Curriculum within a homely, family atmosphere where a child can learn through play and have freedom of choice of activities.

All food is prepared on a daily basis by our cook using organic ingredients whenever possible. We provide breakfast, lunch, tea and morning and afternoon snacks.

The baby area is a calm and relaxing environment where different sounds, colours and textures stimulate the babies’ curiosity and desire to explore the world around them.

The main room offers fun and excitement for the older children through a variety of constantly changing activities. There is a wet play area for exploring different materials and their creative side. In the conservatory, the children can relax with a story or develop their reading skills.

Our garden has separate areas for the babies and the older children to explore safely and enjoy outdoor play.
